I have tons of things unfinished that I wanted to add but they are all in Illustrator or Photoshop file format so maybe I will convert them sometime to upload. ::::grin:::: 

I need to get back into my art. I will. 
Im working on a few projects that I honestly hope will come to fruition sometime soon. Is that the right word?
either way, I'm getting busy.

I finally got to post my unfinished gradient mesh projects in my scraps section here. I seemed to build up so many unfinished projects lately but I do plan to finish them!

I was recently injured and spent lots of time in the hospital, and now home still trying to heal. It was my dominant right arm that was hurt, so finishing my artwork was not exactly first on my priority list.
Anyway, I hope to do some more work and hopefully post up some of my other stuff.

Ok I haven't updated in awhile but I entered that WP contest to get back into stuff and I'm working on another gradient mesh thingy......
I've noticed all the new "Trace" features in Illustrator programs and tried it out on a few images and you know, they don't do a bad job of vectoring.

I actually only tried the trace thing in "Xara Xtreme" .....I think thats what its called. I downloaded the trial & was playing a bit.......I do like the speed and the pentool seems easier...ahhhh but I'm used to Illustrator.

Anyway, those trace things make me kinda sad because soon people will be able to make vectors as good as the ones people spend forever on with gradient mesh tools and such......Instead everyone will click a button, create a vector and say they created "art".....ok it's still art technically but is it really??? If all your doing is letting a program trace it for you?
I just wonder if a tracer can do it as well as someone using mesh and stuff......if not yet, probably in the future huh?

Well I'm still determined to conquer this mesh tool so I'll just keep practicing!

Well I don't really have a lot of pictures that I like of myself and even worse is that I don't have any that are clear enough to vector.....or practice vectoring on anyway.

I did find one finally....the other day, my dad took a semi decent photo of me so I'm going to attempt to vector it after a bit more practice.....I just can't seem to find something I want to use. I was thinking of dong an object like something electronic so I can practice the gradient mesh more....but I'm not finding anything

Off to look around the web and deviantart for some ideas......
